1630hrs Chris..all hands to the muster bay.....then we started in line at the Linthorpe Road end of the appliance room all mops 'in step' together and worked our way through in military precision sliding the mop buckets as we progressed. By the time we got to the far end all we were doing was sloshing mud about. But that's how it had been done for years!

As of 2023, still operational at Middlesbrough after 36 years! Did spend time in reserve when replaced by the Volvo, but back into service when that was written off
