The Commer is a Vincent bodied job that was ex-Berkshire & Reading.

Ian/Bob,
I have only just found this entry,GRX 36 was initally allocated to Maidenhead? It came to Caversham rd,Reading as the the second pump(WRT).
This machine was well laid out with a very roomy cab and was very fast!, an absolute pleasure to crew and drive.
I would love to know if it is still in existence, anybody out there with ideas of its whereabouts.
thanks Alan Jones

When I visited Blackbushe in the late 1960s, they had an ex Bucks Commer HCB WrT, OKX 999, and a Land Rover carrying a 34 gallon chemical foam unit.

Sister machine to the Commer QX Vincent bodied GRX35 appeared in Quatermass and the Pit . Put 'imcdb quatermass commer qx' into google images for some good stills.
