Morita Super Gyro on Isuzu Chassis. Right rear view.
Compare the controls to the Magirus in picture 1595.
The ladder operator stands unlike to Magirus.
According to the crew this system is easier to operate than the Magirus and easier to maintain. However the Moritas have a smaller basket and thus less useful for rescue work than the Magirus. Also the Moritas only have water pumps and montors - whilst the Magirus can pump foam and the montitor has greater range.
The Moritas are due for service life extension and upgrading next year.
