yeah i agree with buzz because aerial rescue pumps are always at risk of tipping over..think of the hamilton arp tipping over a couple of years ago and becoming a write-off and you'll know what i mean
CARP soon to be in warwickshire. At the mo its flying round doing driver training with blues and twos on. Don't take this wrong its a smart looking piece of kit Scania with Bronto booms (I do perfer Dennis) but they have brought this thing altered the doors at the station (Leamington Spa) to fit this. Shame they can't alter the roads this CARP won't fit down. Then to top it all the chief fire officer wants to close 4 retained fire stations. In Leamington Spa only a week ago there was a fire in a centre this was up a very small street in the old town part of Leamington. In total 11 app were there. At the mo Leamington has 2PRLs 1HP and 1PM the next nearest stations are Warwick and Kenilworh which they plan to close plus about 10-15 miles outside Leamington is a little village called Fenny Compton which as well as having the M40 running thru its patch has the largest ammo dump in Europe and thats due to be closed as well. What is the British fire service coming to?
