This appliance was based at East bourne and use to be there Chemical Incident Unit.
then in 1990 East Sussex Fire Service converted it into a Fire Safety Exhibition Unit seen here based at East bourne.

according to Fire Cover 189 page 55 this has been converted to a mobile hair dressing salon around Heathfield. A first for a fire engine? It had a Pilcher Greene body originally.
