Photo of Dennis F38 Pump T00 928E Essex County FB
Picture by kind permission of Roger Pickett of the Essex Fire Museum. Further to picture 14939 and the other posts on this machine, here is Dennis F38 TOO 928E post 1969 rebuild running here as a Pump Escape at Leigh on Sea fire station.
Of particular note is the newer style front that this machine now wears and from which came much confusion as to which model this machine was. I bought it originally as I believed it was a Dennis F44! (Which share a similar front from below the windscreen), from this I learnt the lesson if in doubt about a Dennis, check the chassis plate in the cab!
