Former South Shields Dodge Jennings HP VCU596L
Another former South Shields machine, this is VCU596L a Dodge/Jennings HP. It had been sold to Cleveland for its booms to be used on the fire boat, but this didn't happen, and it was sold on to Rusbrooke Hall near Saltburn as a ground maintenence vehicle.

Is this the appliance which was in a scrap yard between Teeside and Whitby near Guisborough if I remember ?

we know what happened to this one from South Shields.

Hi Paul, yes, this is the scrapyard between Teesside and Whitby, outside Guisbrough. The last time I was past cJune/July 08, it wasn't there. So either it's been scrapped, or retrieved for preservation by Persons unknown.
Perhaps it's time for someone to compile an itiery of all known North East survivors and their current status?
