Hi Steve, Yes this place was a bit of a treasure trove. There were several Fire appliances here, including MCU723 South Shields magnificent AEC Mercury TL, and several 1950's era military vehicles such as the Austin K9 Signals Van seen in this picture.

Its still there today (14.02.9) looking pretty much the same. You can't get this photo anymore because a large truck has been put in front of it.
I did take a rear view through the fence which I'll send if it's good enough.

Wonderfully this vehicle is now in the process of being retrieved for preservation. More details to follow soon.
