The role of the Major Rescue Unit (MRU) is same as the role of Light Rescue Unit (LRU) (picture#1444).If this appliance is paired with the Rescue Tender (RT) it will form a team named Special Rescue Squad (SRS).Same as LRU this vehicle is equipped with a primary firefighting equipment, usually the Denmark Firexpress which is stored at the rear locker. This appliance is also equipped with an electrical winch which is installed at front of this appliance (visible in the photo).-courtesy of HKFSD website.
