Suffolk Fire and Rescue - Wickhambrook

This is Wickhambrook's WRL (M902 DGV).

This appliance started its life as 1st away in Lowestoft, before moving to become 1st away at Sudbury, and since mid 2003 it has been here at station 29 Wickhambrook.

The station is Retained and is Located almost exactly half way between Day crewed Haverhill and Wholetime Bury.

Trouble with Crewing though means that every now and then, Wickhambrook requires FTE (Full Time Equivalent) Cover, which is where personnel from other Stations come to a crew defficient station to keep there appliance(s) on the run.

The Appliance is seen at its home station.

This appliance now belongs to us at Edinburgh airport as a replacement for one of our viper crash tenders that rolled. Until it is returned to service from its repairs at which point this will probably be kept as a spare or given to our training school
