Agde Renault Rescue truck

The French firm Gimaex built this rescue truck for the fire brigade of Agde. It's based on a Renault Mascott 160 chassis.

Specifically designed for road traffic accident response, these are very common with French fire services.

Some SDIS have however recently started acquiring rescue pump water tenders, similar to those which are now widespread in many other countries, following a pioneering introduction in to service by the Berlin Fire Service in the 1980s.
