Dublin Airport Authority Fire Service Timoney R5
The R5 is a Timoney/Carmichael Cobra 8x8 Rapid Intervention Foam Tender (R.I.F.T.) dating from 2002. It has independent suspension and an MTU Turbo 950 BHP engine, carries 11,585 litres of water, 1704 litres of foam and 50 kilos of powder. It is equipped with a 10.5m and a 5.5m ladder, both on their own gantries which are released from ground level. All-up weight is 36 tonnes.
