Dublin Airport Authority Fire Service Dennis R17
This is a 1987 Dennis RS Class "B" Water/Rescue/Ladder Tender. It has a Perkins V8 640 180 BHP engine. It was bought in 2000 as a reserve Domestic tender to replace the Timoney class "B" (former R9) then in service, prior to the arrival of the new R9. It still performs the reserve role when necessary. It was originally a West Midlands (U.K.) Fire Service vehicle.
