I'm interested to know why the fire station is open air, anyone have an answer?

This is their haz mat vehicle. They don't like driving it because it is too wide and too long. This is understandable as E-One is an American apparatus provider. I spoke with them in August of 07 and 08 and in that year the vehicle did not go out once.

R.Genberg, it is so hot and humid in Thailand that if you closed the engine room up with doors the heat would be unbearable. The open air method allows for any breeze to pass through the appliance bays and cool the station proper.
