This is a 1959 commer karrier gamecock fire engine owned by me
I bought it off eBay and have restored it to be fully operational
It is ex westmorland (now cumbria) and served at kendal and then kirkby lonsdale until coming out of service in 1974
I don't have any photo's of it in service so if any recognises her or has info on her I'd love to have it!
I've owned her for 3 years and her first outing was to the great Dorset steam fair in September 2008

Martin, you've got me heading down memory lane with these lovely snaps of such a fine work-horse. There are few photos of this manufacturer and type on the site. You are going to have to help me out here though. I'm trying to work out where the delivery valves are situated? I'm also not familiar with the intake? fitting under the rear step/floor? Our New Zealand appliances were configured differently.
