Yes Jake......the pic was taken at the Bentley works in Cheshire, an event was held there and they provided a red Bentley......we put the magnetic mounted beacon/siren set on the car for the pics

the chief of Cheshire drive a fully marked up sport Mercedes c class 2.3 turbo diesel. It was at rhyl on the big meeting in 2007

The marked Merc is used for officers blue light driver training and is normally driven by the head of driver training, the chief and his 3 deps all drive unmarked Mercs

I am sure the Cheshire ratepayers are grinning like Cheshire cats to know that - as their fire service cuts costs and coverage - their senior officers are running around in unmarked Mercedes.

Is the police can manage with diesel Opel Vectras, why not the fire service?
