This is one of the relatively few TFD pumpers to have an on board water tank. It is built on a heavier and a larger Hino chassis than most of the other pumper fleet. It retains the mid mounted pump and hose cart which is carried in the rear compartment, but has no ladders.
These are intended primarily to respond to industrial fires. They are a bit too large to be able to access many residential streets, and are dispersed to a limited number of the city's 80 full time fire stations which have industrial and docks risks within their response area.
