Only 4 Benz 310 remains in service for HKFSD and this is one of them. It is classified as a light rescue unit (LRU), which is a "first strike fire appliance equipped with a wide varieties of rescue equipment".

Mb 310 is quite popular with the hk government agencies in the 90s. Now the hkfsd lrus are built on the vario chassis.

I just noticed the LRU decal on the sliding door is a new features on these MB310 LRUs. Possibly the HKFSD style to standardised their fleet or followed other countries which put the vehicle type decals on the side doors.
