NSW Rural Fire Service - Forward Command Comms

This is the Forward Command Communications vehicle used by the New South Wales Rural Fire Service area of Warringah on Sydney's northern beaches. The vehicle is an Isuzu chassis, with four wheel drive capability. The sides where the windows are, slide out like a motor home which forms a rather large room inside the back. The vehicle is used by the Communications Brigade at a Forward staging area of wild fires. Inside are radios, telephones, fax machines, satellite phones and a generator which powers the vehicle when it is set up. This vehicle is unique as apparently most of the Rural Fire Service communications vehicles are not 4WD, so this particular vehicle can be better utilised than ones attached to other areas.

add commentComments:
The truck does not service the Warringah / Pittwater area due to rust anymore.
It will be not used again as it is not road worthy.
