IVECO TLs are in service with Tokyo, and are among a very small number of imported fire trucks in service in Japan. The others are all Unimogs, used as brush fire trucks, water relaying pump carriers and LDH hose layers, command vehicles and EMS units.

IVECO-Magirus now have a co-operative agreement with Morita, and newer ladders are assembled locally on local chassis instead of being imported.
