This summer I visited the United States. On my trip I was a guest at several fire station in the region. This very nice appliance I saw at station 95, in the LAX area.
LA City has a large fleet of Pierce engines, operating singly and in matched pairs at their different stations.
Like this one, they have a front suction inlet, but for some reason the department does not load the front bumper with preconnected 5 inch supply hose, unlike most who add a front inlet. As the crew is only four, with two on the second engine, one might think that this time-saving idea would be worthwhile.
