Fire Engine Photos
Funeral Motorcade Maryland USA
I thought twice about posting a photo related to a tragedy but ultimately decided it was relevant to the fire truck world. This a scene from a funeral motorcade in Maryland on October 6, 2008. I was impressed with not only the very large turn-out of fire, EMS and police vehicles in the procession but also how on every motorway overpass both volunteer and career fire dept's staged apparatus and personnel to honour a fallen volunteer EMT, killed in a medevac helicopter crash. Pictured here on an overpass above I-95 in Baltimore County is the Pikesville Vol. Fire Dept, whom have staged an engine and ladder truck, as the motorcade below makes it's way toward the cemetery.
