This is a 1984 Magirus Deutz 130D9 watertender from the Maintal fire brigade. This unit is stationed at Bisschofsheim fire station.

Actually this Magirus is not a water tender. The old German DIN specification LF16 TS did not have a water tank. It had a front mounted 1600 LPM pump and also carried an 800 LPM portable pump in the center rear compartment. It had a nine seat cab, and was intended for use in communities where access to open water sources was an important requirement.

Because it had no tank, it normally responded along with a TLF 16, which also has a 1600 LPM fixed pump but included a 2400 liter water tank.
