in the year 2000, WAS delivered a total of 33 standard type mercedes 412 D ambulances to all 6 providers of the Frankfurt city emergency ambulance cooperation (ASB, JUH, MHD, DRK, Fire Brigade+"Rettungswache Bergen-Enkheim"), this was the first time for an Franfurt Fire Brigade amb.painted white instead of "day-glow"red since 1969.after 7 years of wear+tear they hopefully will be replaced next year.

Marcel, these ambulances have now been withdrawn from service and replaced by new Sprinters (515CDI) with Fahrtec bodywork (early 2009)
