Hi Mark,
Now I'm confused. picture 5916 by Paul Warnock shows DWT472H in white West Riding livery after retirement. Your photos show her in the livery when she was retired - red. Are you positive of the reg. number, as West Riding / West Yorkshire pumps never had the single blue light on the grille.

Ah, but DWT 472H passed to North Yorkshire on the 1974 merger, and was no doubt repainted into red livery by them.
When new to West Riding of Yorkshire, it was white, and it is in that livery that it is now being restored. As regards the single blue light on the grille, this was probably also a North Yorkshire addition.

This then cannot be the ex Normanton appliance that I thought it was. That stayed with West Yorkshire until it was replaced by a Dodge. I'll have a re-truffle through the photos box!

Hi John, This one was ex Skipton.Someone painted it red in the late 90's, as we have a picture of it at a show after retirement still painted white. The light on the grill and red station nameplate holders on the doors are North Yorkshire fitments.
