Fire Engines Photos

It is a specialised unit funded by the Government and Environmental Protection Agency, they have a newer vehicle in Wrexham Fire Station in North Wales. The vehicles carries equipment to help prevent and secure the protection of the environment having lots of kit on board to stop chemical leakages and stop run-off from fire scenes contaminating the water supplies.

This has attended at "Alans Skip Hire" incident in Wrexham prior to Wrexhams Mercedes Axor going on the run.It must have been a tidy hike from one end of North Wales to the other for Holyheads crew!

Hi David! If the Offshore Firefighting Unit is the same as in Sweden, it will bring boxes with gear for
firefigthing on boats. They fly the boxes with helicopters to ship. In swedish, RITS=Räddnings Insats Till Sjöss.
