Have Spain changed to blue lights now?.......they have always had amber beacons on fire appliances and ambulances.

In effect, until a few years ago, spanish law reserved blue emergency ligts only for police vehicles, but it has changed now, and in some places, other emergency services vehicles (fire figthing, ambulances...) has got blue lights too. Until may 2008, all vehicles of Salamanca Councyl fire departament are in amber colour, now are all in blue, but vehicles of other stations of the Salamanca province still hold today its amber lights...
