We had Kamaz garbage trucks in Kuwait City and they did indeed go "off the run" about 50% of the time!
Fortunately the Kuwait Fire Service was not as penny wise and pound foolish, and their fleet was mostly MAN and Mercedes. I should not like to have had to rely on Kamaz fire trucks turning up in adequate numbers if we had a fire!
