Well over the BorderYJ51 DZC. North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, Land Rover 110 Discovery, based at the Training Centre, Easingwold. Photographed at Pen-Y-Pass, Llanberis, North wales the base of Snowdon. The vehicle was very kindly provided to carry a team of 5 walkers who took part in the 3 Peaks Mountain Challenge. Which is to climb the 3 highest Peaks in 24 hours. The Peaks are Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scar Fell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales, this was all in aid of various Charities. The 5 who took part did it for my 24 year old Son in Law who died in a hit and run accident a few weeks ago. They did it with time to spare. Well done lads and thank you.
