ERF Water Carrier
Pictured in Liverpool on the 29th August 2008 was this Water Carrier bearing the title Teesside Fire & Rescue. This brigade never existed...Teesside Fire Brigade was absorbed into Cleveland Fire Brigade in 1974, it is understood that it is operated by a private 'event cover' service and was so livereied for the TV servies Steel River Blues a few years back which was loosely based on the ficticious Teesside brigade. It was in Liverpool to pump water out of a tank inside the Fire Exp exibition at Liverpool. (close up pic of the markings to follow)

Not too far removed from reality, though.
That is how many a Volunteer Fire Dept. got a Tanker or Pumper/Tanker - by acquiring and converting a former commercial tanker - Fuel Tanker, Milk Tanker, etc - over here.
