No, it travelled by low-loader, driving was out of the question. The serious restoration work will start in October.

That is one fantastic restoration project, such a purposeful looking TL with great design (particularly the livery, those reversed Fire signs look especially great). Sometimes think that TL's can look almost bland, but this one is an absolute favorite (biased by being a Dennis fan). Will eagerly follow it's progress.
All the best of luck, it's going to be really worth all the effort.

Still making progress, slowly!! The cab interior nearly finished have to complete trim on doors, busy cleaning and painting chasis and underside of cab shell. Replaced damaged/missing lights sourced H/lights from Germany. Just removed roof of Pump housing to repair spars.Had engine running a couple of weeks ago, sounds great. Recent pics submitted today.
