Oxfordshire Volvo FL6/Excalibur

The Excalibur-bodied Volvo FL6.14 was Oxfordshire's standard pumping appliance throughout the 1990s. N437 CBW is one of four delivered in 1995; it was based originally at station A1 in Banbury but when photographed at a school fete in June 2002 was stationed at Bicester (A7).

A very similar looking Volvo was being used by a small town fire department earlier this year in Belize of all places - a country which typically much prefers former US fire trucks...
