1944 Bedford OY Fire Engine/Water Bowser Unit
1944 Bedford OY Fire Engine/Water Bowser Unit with a 500 gallon water tank and 3519cc petrol engine in its original colours,style and body with main pump being housed in a rear locker at the back of the water tank.This appliance is beleaved to be by the owner the only Bedford OY (ex-RAF) fire tender of its kind on the road and rallied to date.The Military number for this vehicle was:-87-RN-24.and was photograhed at the Amberley Working Museum Fire Show,July 2008.
