Rodger, Will the ladder still fully extend safely? Waht is its length. I have no experience of wooden TL ladders. Does the expansion and contraction of the wood with climatic conditions present any operational problems?
At least you will soon be able to service it on full extension by standing alongside it with you new Dennis!
It's a DL26 or 26 metres TL, built on a Magirus 3CL chassis. Around 1926/27 4 other US towns received the same model. Lima, Aberdeen, Sidney and Milwaukee.
