1942 Austin K2 Auxilliary Towing Vehicle(A.T.V.)

The Austin K2 Auxilliary Towing Vehicle was reputed as being very reliable and versatile and the Home Office ordered them in large numbers during the second world war.This 1942 Austin K2 (reg-GLR 993) was retained by the London Fire Brigade after the war and this photograph shows the appliance with a Dennis TP500 gpm heavy trailor pump still today in presevation.
