2008 HCVS London to Brighton Run
The 100 year Centenary of Dennis Fire Engine production was displayed on another London to Brighton regular, the 1921 Dennis 'N' Type which served at the Bass Brewery Fire Brigade.

And, you have her working well; that is some 50 miles (88 kms) for her to cover, for the London-to-Brighton Run.
Interesting, to see the Apparatus evolve - from open-body trucks, with all the gear [and crew] hung on the exterior, to the enclosed van-like bodies of present-day.
Do you know - apart from the Wheeled Escape - this rig could pass for a North American machine - many early ones had RHD over here, including the legendary Aherns-Fox.
