London to Brighton Historic Commercial Vehicle run
1939 Dennis Light Four/New World fire engine on the annual London to Brighton historic commercial vehicle run held on the first Sunday in May each year. Each year, more then 100 vehicles take to the road and travel down from London to the south coast resort of Brighton in East Sussex, and include vintage buses, lorries and of course fire engines. They certainly did look a happy bunch of firies as they as they drove into Brighton last year in their best gear, including those lovely brass helmets. For more information on this 1939 Dennis Light Four/New World see picture #7141.
