Fire Engines Photos

Nice photo, this is strictly not a LIAZ, but a CAS 24 with Liaz chassis and the cab section is actually a Karosa serviced bus section supplied by the factory.

Is truth, Liaz, Karosa, i was trained in one of this fire trucks, its an all in one fire and rescue, the cab has capacity for 6 firefigther plus the driver, and also the respiratory equipment its inside, 10 speeds manual transmission, the cab its supported by air bags, and its separated from the back side, very fast emergency respond vehicle, but low capacity of water, a tanker its needed inmediatly on the site.

The machine was actually built by Továrna Hasicí Techniky at Police formed out of the old State company "THZ" (Továrny hasicích zařízení) which actually came under the control of the Karosa operation prior to 1989, this machine being built much later of course. It is classed as a water tender with a 4800 litre water tank.
