Hafnarfjordur Volvo bus

The Volvo bus can be used to evacuate groups of people away from accidents, fires ... The Volvo is standing outside of the Hafnarfjordur fire station. The fire men have a small exercise place here, so they can train their skills close to their vehicles.

Comments:
Beside evacuating casualty from incident, Fire buses usually used by fire departments as personnal carrier (PC) to transport firefighters (c/w equipments) to/from incident site.

Also great for sheltering and warming up the people forced out of their housing by the fire, during those cold winters. And for the fire-crews to thaw out, in rotation.
