This is the first out pumper for the full-time crew at the City of McDonough, Georgia USA. Big Jr. (my son) usually rides as F/F but sometimes drives. HME chassis, unk. body mfg.
Mark, This is my son's FD. They have 2 stations and are about 20 miles South of Atlanta, Georgia. They have a full crew of 3 at each station. Sta. 1 runs E-51 and Sta. 2 runs Quint 52(picture 5224) They have a few (less than 10) Police officers who are dual-qualified Police and Fire. They also have a handful of Volunteers, I don't know how many. They are in a rapidly growing area of metropolitan Atlanta and are planning a 3rd station in a few years.
My FD is Cobb County Georgia Fire & Emergency Services located North of Atlanta. We have 28 stations now, 1 being built and another to be built next yeat to bring us up tp 30 stations. Yup, were BIG! Around 650 personnel total. We have 28 triple comination Pumpers, 6 aerial Ladder Trucks, 8 first responder Rescue Trucks, 2 Heavy Squads, 3 Air/Light units, and 4 Batallion Chiefs. Specialty units are 3 Haz-Mat trucks, 1 GMAG(State Sponsored) Heavy Rescue, 1 Trench Rescue Unit and approx 6 Reserve pumpers. Is that enough for you? Check out my album (Thefireman) and you'll see many of our trucks. And yes Pavel, my Boy IS a lucky kid. He's got 3 years in with them and is VERY content being where he is. He takes care of his truck, just like his ol' man taught him!
