Icy photo of Montreal Fire fighters at workDuring one of the worst winters recorded,this photograph shows Montreal Firefighters and equipment at the scene of a 5th Alarm fire.Due to wind-chill,temperatures dropped to - 40*F,hoses froze and looking closely at the Thibault Snorkel behind the fireman,(Snorkel 714) ice formed to the ground from the cage monitor.Severe winter conditions,water problems, etc,meant the total lose of the 3 storey appartment block fully involved in fire when 1st engine companies arrived on scene.....
