1969 AEC/Merryweather Turntable ladder ACTFB 1969 AEC/Merryweather 125ft (5 Section) Turntable Ladder of the Australian Capitol Territory Fire Brigade (ACTFB) in Canberra,the Capitol of Australia.This Turntable Ladder appliance is now located at the old Canberra Fire Brigade Headquarters,which is now the Museum in Canberra in Australia.
This photograph was from a collection of photos sent to me from an old friend,the late (deceased) Graham B. Vatcher who I became really good friends with over a number of years when I was writing a book on the Australian Fire Brigades.I had his full support in using his pictures and I feel he'd be broud to have one of his pictures put on this brilliant website.Graham was a Wholetime Firefighter (fulltime) with the N.S.W.F.B.in Sydney olding the rank of Station Officer.I'm sure today,he's still very sadly missed
