Torridon LFA

This is one of Highland & Islands Fire Brigade's Light Fire Appliances. It is based in Torridon, build in 2004.
SY04CAE LDV Convoy/HIFB LFA. Anybody knows more specs? Or maybe a good story on its use?

Again taken with my Olympus 2.1 Mpixel 10x zoom. I was able to get very close so no zoom required.

Comments:
Since the picture was taken the batch of six that this appliance was in has had the station allocations removed as they were used as reserve appliances while earlier models were upgraded to meet gross travelling weight requirements. SY04 CAE is now believed to have been allocated to Staffin on the Isle of Skye. The Torridon unit were actually based in Wester Alligan some four miles from Torridon and a new temporary fire station is to be sited at Annat village probably a mile from Torridon. This unit is to amalgamate with Shieldaig and cover both areas with Sub officer Donald Beaton in charge. Two of the batch SY04 CAX and CBF are now operational from North Ronaldsay in the Orkney's and Glenelg in Skye & Lochalsh.
