We get our first look at the results of Fire & Rescue NSW re-branding, which was rumoured to involve new signage and livery for their appliances.

It is certainly colorful, if not quite as much like a circus van as the New Zealand livery, but of course the more different colors and patterns are introduced, the messier it all looks....

I always wonder if anybody ever researches whether all these stripes and checks really increase safety. Japanese fire trucks are still all solid red, except for a few rescues with white stripes, and do not seems to have a problem with RTA's...
