Working with the old girl

We use our 1945 Ford Howe several times a year during parades and misc. fund raisers in Eaton, CO. Not bad for 60 years of service! It takes a special touch to run one of these old engines. Enjoy!

Eaton, Colorado.

Comments:
We went out this afternoon and drafted from a folding drop tank with the 1945 today. That hasn't been done with her in many years. We've always hooked up to a hydrant or pulled from the booster tank when pumping in the past. We had a great time. She sure is fun to play around with. Wish I had more time to do it more often.

Terrific body-work on your Parade Engine.
And, of course, the engine-hood [engine-bonnet] up to help with the cooling.
Great to see her still pumping.
