1945 Ford Howe Engine- Eaton Fire
This is our fire department pride and joy. It is a 1945 Ford Howe Engine. It has been with our department for 60 years this year. She still pumps and drives like a dream. Enjoy!

Hi Ron, The pump is a Howe - 500 gpm / single stage pump. The motor is a Flat Head V-9 Ford. The motor compartment has been reconditioned to the original state (ie plug wires, decals, correct paint colors and etc.) All equipment on her is from our station and all period historically according to photos we have of her in our archieves. The engine has about 13, 000 miles on it and I don't know how many pumping hours she has on her. I hope this answers your questions! You have to love these old pieces of art. FF Wayne Yanish
