I've got a feeling this appliance was converted by Devon fire Brigade workshops to carry a wheeled escape ladder. But I don't know that it ever did. It ended service being used as Exeter's third pump. Crewed by Exeter retained.

This appliance was delivered new to Exeter City Fire Brigade equipped to carry a wheeled escape, but it never saw service as a Pump Escape.
