AEC Merryweather 100' Turntable Ladder 8100 GZ. In the mid 1980s it was re-chassised on a Shelvoke; that appliance can be seen in pictures 2339 and 2421. This picture was taken in Springfield Station, Belfast, in 1981.

Hi. I have just acquired one of these machines in Malta. Does anybody have the dimensions for these vehicles? Particularly I need to know vehicle height from the ground to the top of the ladder rail when the ladder is closed. I am trying to determine whether I can get the vehicle into a particular garage.
