Taken in October 2010 at Southwark, this is an LFB Vauxhall Astra Staff Car in somewhat unusual markings for the Brigade. It is used by a Headquarters team. Note the lack of a Brigade badge or title.

This is especially interesting in that it caries a non-standard registration for an LFB vehicle, since these usualy appear (on an outside basis) with either Birmingham or Essex plates. The fact that this one is Vale (of Evesham) registered makes me wonder whether it mighht just be a demonstrator that they've come by. Do you have a nearside front shot of it by any chance, since if you have, a fleet number may be visible on that one.

ian, this vehicle was used by the LFB as a trial vehicle, and it obviously impressed them as they changed from nissan to vauxhall
