1968 Bedford RL CO2 Tender Dublin Airport

This Bedford was in service from 1968 to 1985 at Dublin Airport Ireland It is one of only 2 built to this design for Irish Airports as the other one was scrapped this is the only one left in exsistance and is preserve by Dublin Airport Fire service

John, this is beeee-autiful! New Zealand airports ran many Bedfords of this type at the same period. Well done to all concerned with preserving these magnificent vehicles.

John, I got to thinking could this really have been a 1968 model? But after a quick Google was surprised to learn the last RL series came off the production line in the early 1970's and in total there were 74, 000 produced. The Green Goddess was also based on the RL.
